How payment works
Booking and payment
- A lesson is booked once the date, time, duration and price have been agreed. Payment is due as agreed when booking.
Lesson cancellations
- Please give at least 48 hours notice to cancel a lesson. If you cancel with less notice or do not attend, the lesson fee is normally charged because the slot cannot be rebooked at short notice.
- If we need to cancel a lesson, we will offer another time or refund any payment for a lesson that cannot be rearranged.
Block bookings
- 10- and 20-hour blocks must be paid in full in advance.
- These blocks must be used within 4 months of purchase. Any unused hours then expire and are non-refundable, subject to your legal rights.
Driving test
- The £180 test-day package includes a one-hour warm-up lesson and use of the school car. It does not include the DVSA test booking fee.
- You must book and cancel your driving test directly with the DVSA. We have the final say on whether you are ready to take your test and whether the school car can be used.

Most pupils start with a single lesson to get a feel for the car and the teaching style, then move onto a block booking once they’re settled. Call or text and we can work out a plan based on the driving you’ve already done.
